Culinaria a Beneficiary of Sweet Paris Creperie & Café’s Community Days
October 5 @ 3:00 pm - 7:00 pm
Sweet Paris Crêperie & Café located on Main Street at The Shops at La Cantera is continuing its second anniversary celebration with Community Days. Every Tuesday through October, Sweet Paris will donate a portion of the days’ proceeds to a different local charity.
Community Days begin on Tuesday, October 5 when not-for-profit CULINARIA will be selling wine on site from 3 to 7 p.m. Culinaria promotes San Antonio as a premiere food and wine destination through year-round events including Restaurant Weeks, Chef Swaps, Hallowine Run and Food Trails.
From 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday, October 10, the SAN ANTONIO HUMANE SOCIETY will set up shop outside Sweet Paris with pets available for adoption. A no-kill shelter, the San Antonio Humane Society mission is to protect and improve the lives of dogs and cats by providing shelter, care, adoption, rescue, spay/neuter programs and community education, their designated Sweet Paris day is Tuesday, October 12.
On October 19, SPURS GIVE will be the beneficiary of Community Days. Spurs Give is a family – a team – passionate about sports. Spurs Give is passionate about what sports can do for our community – especially its youth. At the heart of it, Spurs Give believes sports can provide a family with a common goal and a hope for a better future. Spurs Give is the official 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization of Spurs Sports & Entertainment. Since its founding in 1988, it has invested $32 million in the community. Through players’ passions, grants and impact programs, Spurs Give is changing lives and leaving a lasting impact. You give. We give. Spurs Give.
The final Community Day event on Tuesday, October 26 will benefit WINGS whose mission is to bridge the gap between diagnosis and treatment of breast cancer, providing comprehensive breast health services to women in Central and South Texas who are uninsured. Since its inception in 1999, Wings has seen five-year survival rates for the women it serves from zero (untreated breast cancer) to 100 percent for Stage 1 disease. The nonprofit will be on site providing important information about its services as well offering a register to win swag bag.
“Giving back is just a part of our company tradition,” says Strategic Partner Stephane Raveneau, Sweet Paris Crêperie & Café. “We’re thrilled to be celebrating our second anniversary and thankful we can give back to this community which has welcomed us so warmly.”
